This is a link
to a buzzfeed post of 13 photographers’ favorite same sex weddings and I think
it is so moving! All of the photos are just as beautiful as any other wedding
photo and I think it was really cool to see how unique each couples pictures
can be. One photographers comment was “the most important thing I learned when
photographing same-sex couples was not to put gender roles on them.” I think
this is so great because people are always trying to put a label on the way the
LGBT should look and behave. At first glance of these pictures you wouldn’t
even notice that is was same sex couples because you can see all the love and
affection in them just as you would a male female wedding. I think weddings are
so beautiful and can mean so much to couples and I think everyone should be
able to marry anyone they want. Love is love and you can see that love in these
pictures. In one photo you see many people standing around something and you
don’t really know what’s going on and the photographer states “the most special
moment I have captured […] both sets of parents stood up with their sons while
they said their vows to each other. They circled around the couple showing
their love, while giving blessings and support for this union.” This honestly
made me tear up a little bit because I think it is so beautiful the support the
families show the couple. Seeing the families all gathered around the couple
makes me so happy because I feel as though on your wedding all you want is your
family to be there and be as happy as you are on your special day. So marriage
rights to couples of all types!
Those pictures are so great! I agree I think that wedding pictures are beautiful because of love not the sex of the people getting married!
