This comic is dig at DC Comics and their reluctance to make
a movie just centered on Wonder Woman. There is reason for concern with DC
because, as the comic stated, Wonder Woman is part of DC’s Big 3. The three
characters from DC that basically everyone knows; they are also DC’s oldest
characters. Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman make up those three but the
issue is that Green Lantern has gotten a movie, Green Arrow has a show and
Flash is getting one, and Batman and Superman have had many movies and are
starring in one together with only just an appearance from Wonder Woman. Wonder
Woman fans have reason to be upset because Green Lantern and Arrow as well as
the Flash are minor characters, green arrow especially. The comic covers how
Marvel has included Black Widow in her own part in The Avengers and there are
even rumors that she may get her own movie, Black Widow shouldn’t be getting
bigger roles than Wonder Woman in comic book group defining movies. The Avengers
to Marvel are what The Justice League is to DC and Wonder Woman is a big part
of that as well. Overall she deserves her own movies, she’s a big enough star
and it’s time for a powerful female superhero movie.
I never made that connection! That's crazy how Wonder Woman has yet to have her own movie or even have that much of a prominent role for that matter. I was just watching the show Young Justice with my friend Brinique, and you see Superman, Batman, and Green Arrow, but in the three episodes I watched, Wonder Woman did not make a single appearance. And I believe Cyborg was recently made a member of the Justice League, so I wonder how long it will be before he has his own movie and Wonder Woman continues to be pushed aside for her male allies.
