I've recently started a new show on netflix, I have only finished the first season out of seven. It is called army wives. I've found that the show presents a-lot of topics that we have talked about this semester. I have noticed how the only "main character" women who is in the army is sort of looked at like she is manly. i find it interesting that in the show it is mostly men. also,  there is another women whose husband is an important figure in the military. when she decides to go back to work and ride a motorcycle her husband says "i can let you do that" she gets upset because he is allowing her to do something even though its her choice. i don't want to spoil to much, but i think this show is presents traditional views as well as contemporary. by watching this show i can put the ideas were learning in class to use. i would recommend this show for those reasons and also for anyone who like a good tear jerker.
