Women as Caretakers
It's no secret that society has women labeled as ideal caretakers for children, the elderly, and even their husbands that they absolutely must have to live a worthwhile life. The argument exists that women supply breast milk, are the ones who actually give birth to the child, and biologically develop a very strong chemical bond with the child through these things. It isn't fair, however there is at least SOME logic present for a woman's capabilities to be the ideal child raiser. This argument somehow just flawlessly transfers to the rest of the world as well, that women are ideal caretakers and supporters for everyone. This clearly is not true. What I find to be ironic is that society seems to believe that women are the best to take care of everyone, but completely lack the ability to take care of themselves. I really just find this to be quite ironic. Society has women portrayed as being the absolute ideal care taker, the best possible supporter to another's cause, however they can't have their own individual cause without facing ridicule.
